Sarah Jessica Parker, the star of HBO’s hit series Sex and the City was spotted taking an extended lunch with HBO president Richard Plepler yesterday. After 15 minute of waiting in the lobby, the two broke bread at New York’s Four Seasons restaurant. For the curious, both of them ordered the risotto with a heaping helping of truffles on top.
Unfortunately there is nothing to report with regards to the possibility of a third Sex and the City film, a new series on HBO itself or really anything of substance but SatC fans all over the world should be encouraged by the fact that the relationship between these two powers remains in tact. A Sex and the City prequel was rumored to be in development for HBO but has since been confirmed on the CW network. SJP may also be looking for a fresh start on the network that made her famous with a future series unrelated to Sex and the City. We’ll surely find out if anything went down at yesterday’s meeting in the coming months.
A third Sex and the City film is rumored to be on the minds of the various players nessisary to make it happen but according to Parker, nothing is in the works as of three months ago.
