Palin-HBO-Game-ChangeGame Change is causing all kinds of controversy around the internet this week as Sarah Palin responds to having seen just two minutes of the HBO program.  Reportedly, the creators of Game Change offered to give Sarah Palin a private screening of the program but were refused.  The two minute trailer portrays Palin as frustrated, bemused and more or less out of her element throughout but the creators of the show insist that the entire film shows all sides of the former Governor of Alaska.

Meg Stapleton, former spokeswoman said that she, unlike most of the people on the 2008 campaign team, had not been contacted by HBO or anyone associated with either film.

“They don’t want to hear anything good.  We all know Palin sells and the dramatization of Palin sells even more. This is sick.”

“They mock Gov. Palin, you mock Gov. Palin, as weak and unable to cope and press forward,” she told reporters on the conference call. “And the movie and the trailer … say that. And yet look with your own eyes at what she and her family have endured and inspired over the last few years. Any lesser man would have hanged himself by now. So who’s weak?”

Needless to say we hope everyone bothers to tune in to HBO on March 10th.  Even though HBO’s ‘evil subscription-only bussiness model makes it less than free to do so.   For those of you hethons with a subscription, set your DVRs and grab the popcorn because it looks like this is going to be another classic HBO smash hit!

Here’s a behind the scenes look at the upcoming HBO Film about the 2008 presidential election.  If you missed the two minute trailer in question give that a watch as well.  Try to keep your composure, people!
