Programming for August is starting to take shape at HBO & Max. We already told you the HBO Original WINNING TIME: THE RISE OF THE LAKERS DYNASTY is set to score on August 06 and now a Max Original title is set too. RAP SH!T returns to the streamer on August 10.
There are not a lot of details currently, but if you are a fan of the show the Season two premiere date is news enough. An official press release worded it as follows:

- Season two of the Max Original comedy series RAP SH!T debuts with two episodes THURSDAY, AUGUST 10. The eight-episode season will continue with one episode weekly, leading up to the season finale on Thursday, September 21.
- Season 2 logline: RAP SH!T follows two estranged high school friends from Miami, Shawna and Mia, who reunite to form a rap group. In their rise to fame, Shawna and Mia find themselves at a pivotal moment in their rap career as they are forced to decide if they will stay true to themselves or conform to the demands of the music industry.
- Season two of the Max Original comedy series RAP SH!T debuts with two episodes THURSDAY, AUGUST 10. The eight-episode season will continue with one episode weekly, leading up to the season finale on Thursday, September 21.

It’s okay if you need a little reminder. The show is a comedy series created by Issa Rae for the WBD streamer. The show is produced by her Hoorae Productions and 3 Arts Entertainment. Shawna Clark is played by Aida Osman and Mia Knight is played by KaMillion. The first season of their tale to stardom ran for eight episodes from July 21 to September 02, 2022. It started with the hard-working girls deciding to form a rap group. They record a video of Shawna freestyling a song with the hook “seduce and scheme.” The video goes viral overnight and a new career path is born. Over the course of their success, there are creative differences, boy troubles, and a credit card scam that get in the way. By season’s end, Shawna and Mia are not on the best of terms, and the police are looking for Shawna.
But all seems to be gelling in the teaser above. Season Two must see all their issues resolved and see them back on the road to stardom with all that rap sh!t they do. Join them come Thursday, August 10 when RAP SH!T returns.
