RockAndRoll2020Not much to say here but we do look forward to and review the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony every Spring and alas, it is part of the ingoing rescheduling situation that has been the norm as of late. The annual event was to be presented LIVE for the first time on Saturday, May 02, 2020, at the Public Auditorium in Cleveland, Ohio. Under the obvious circumstances, however, that has been pushed.

The event is now set for Saturday, November 7, 2020, in which the following will be inducted as the Class of 2020: DEPECHE MODE, THE DOOBIE BROTHERS, WHITNEY HOUSTON, NINE INCH NAILS, THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G., T-REX, JON LANDAU and IRVING AZOFF. The Rock Hall had this official notice regarding:

The rescheduled 2020 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony presented by Klipsch Audio will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Public Auditorium in Cleveland, Ohio. HBO will broadcast the show live beginning at 8 p.m. EST.

“Important cultural events like the Induction Ceremony are what make Cleveland strong. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a great asset for our State and Induction Week provides a significant economic benefit to our region,” said Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson.

Just goes to show you that you can’t kill the music; postpone maybe, but music always Rocks on– which sounds like a perfect segue into some The Doobie Brothers..
