Recently, the HBO and Max brands announced a multiyear output deal with A24 that brings the award-winning entertainment company’s theatrical film slate exclusively to Warner Bros./Discovery’s HBO, Max, and Cinemax. Between the existing and new library of A24 films, subscribers will have access to more than one hundred A24 titles over the term of the agreement.

We all know the WBD steamer is in sore need of timely theatrical movies; it can only recycle older titles for so long. It also won’t hurt arthouse studio A24 to get more of its titles seen. Among the films to be available A24_Pic1under the new deal are Sofia Coppola’s award-winning Priscilla starring Jacob Elordi and Cailee Spaeny, Kristoffer Borgli’s Nicolas Cage starrer Dream Scenario and Sean Durkin’s upcoming release The Iron Claw starring Zac Efron and Jeremy Allen White. Also included on the slate, at this time, are Dicks: The Musical, The Zone Of Interest, Love Lies Bleeding, Civil War, Stop Making Sense (2023), Everything Everywhere All at Once, Uncut Gems, The Whale and Past Lives.

You will discover the story of Elvis through Priscilla Presley’s eyes; get in the squared arena with the Von Erich wrestlers; witness a tale from WWII Germany; rally for a unique musical romp and revist a  remastered Talking Heads concert film and more like a 600-pound Brendan Fraser, Nicolas Cage, invader of dreams and the United States on the brink of civil war.

You likely have been watching some content from A24 already; if not the movies then TV shows like 2 DOPE QUEENS, RANDOM ACTS OF FLYNESS, IRMA VEP, EUPHORIA and THE IDOL  have surely caught your attention.

“Continuing our relationship with A24 to bring award-winning movies alongside recent fan favorites to subscribers adds incredible value to the HBO and Max value proposition,” said Royce Battleman, EVP, Content Acquisitions, Warner Bros. Discovery. “The diverse range of stories that come from the A24 pipeline make this partnership so impactful for our audience.”

However, if you are not familiar with A24 or some of these titles check out the A24 site and/or keep your eyes on us to note each and every movie’s debut on HBO and Max in 2024. Here is a glimpse of one of the titles to come our way —
