Sometimes it takes a long time for our favorite shows to make it to the silver screen. HBO’s Westworld is no different. Like Game of Thrones, the show was delayed several times and the drama on and off set was reported on far and wide. But eventually Westworld will air online and offline and hopefully the amount of work they put into the final product makes it all worth it. The show features several household name actors like Anthony Hopkins and Ed Harris. But that’s not the only reason to watch. Science Fiction on HBO is something that’s never been done before and you know you have to find out what it tastes like.
There are several ways to watch HBO’s content, and Westworld online and streaming for free. Here are the most convenient.

The official, easiest way to watch Westworld online is to use HBOMax, which includes ALL of  HBO’s older and current content along with a ton of movies every weekend. Take a look at their latest deals and promotions for here:

What About HBO Now & HBO Go?

HBONowHBOGo-300x174Up until the summer of 2020, the apps HBO Now and Go both offered access to HBO’s library of TV series, movies, and documentaries. With the debut of HBO’s comprehensive new streaming service, HBO Max, HBO is retiring the HBO Go app. Those who wish to stream HBO’s library of content online without gaining access to HBO Max’s diverse offerings can still subscribe to HBO Now under its new name— HBO. This app can be installed on an iPhone, iPad, or Android device. A subscription is only $15 per month.

Download Full Episodes of Westworld

If you’d rather own all episodes of Westworld without having to subscribe to HBO or HBO Now you can always head to your favorite digital retailer like Amazon or iTunes or Google Play to add them to your collection. It’s about three or four dollars per episode of Westword just just be mindful. It may make more sense to subscribe, right?

Amazon Prime members get a ton of HBO content for free with their subscription but Westoworld won’t be streaming there until years later. You’ll be able to buy the episodes, of course but it won’t be free. They do have Mr. Robot, though which might appeal to this audience.

Avoid Illegal Westworld Streams

If you know how hard it is to put shows like Westworld together than you know it’s worth paying for the right to stream the show online. It’s not always free in the end but HBO has given you several ways to watch Westworld without a cable subscription that are legitimate. Give the trials a chance or watch at a friends house if you must.

The other thing these illegal streams have going for them is a whole mountain of malware and viruses for your computer! Between that and the buffering and the foreign ads all over the screen, this isn’t the way Westworld was meant to be watched online or otherwise.

“Silver screen”? The new “Westworld” is a TV show, not a movie.

Those who cannot access HBO go must get a VPN to unblock and watch from anywhere. For example try Ivacy VPN. It’s working fine for me.

“… you can always head to your favorite digital retailer like Amazon or iTunes or Google Play to add them to your collection.”

@HBO Watch. Did you research this or just assume? Amazon currently does not offer any purchase (or rental) options for Westworld; viewing is only available via HBO NOW subscription. This is likely the case for all digital venues at this time, while HBO sadly keeps a tight lock on distribution options, outside of the narrow-minded subscribe model. A shame it is too; i’d be in line to buy the season or individual episodes.

I have SlingTV and would like to watch “Westworld” on my TV via the HBO add on. But if I subscribed to this add on, would the whole first season of “Westworld” be available to me On Demand, or would only a limited number of episodes be available at any one time? And would it be the same if I subscribed to HBO NOW and watched it via its standalone app?

Let’s make sure you are signing up for the right thing Darion.

HBO Go – is a streaming site you are automatically eligible to use if you are a paid subscriber through a TV provider.

HBO Now – is a streaming site you sign up for and pay for to view HBO content if you do not otherwise pay for said content.

If you are on a computer both of the above are websites. If you are trying to access via a tablet or phone you must download an app first.

Okay?

the only future cable has is pay per episode/season at video rental prices OR lower (like a couple of bucks per episode). The wave of illegal streaming will be hard if not impossible to control. they are on their 11th hour and they know it, but the execs can’t move in a radical manner to fix a sinking ship. Rogers just pulled Shomi. Decent attempt, but doomed to go against Netflix giant. Rogers is offering print magazines as an incentive. Really? let’s to prop our sinking cable ship with an already dead print business?

“It may make more sense to subscribe, right?”

Nope. I cut the cable long ago, not enough worthwhile content. Of all the HBO shows on iTunes, and there are quite a few, I only see one other I might be interested in watching. If Westworld is good I’ll buy the season, if not I’ll save a few bucks.
