HBO-Silicon-Valley-Series-Judge-300x207Mike Judge, probably most famous for his creation of the animated series’ Bevis and Butthead and King of the Kill is heading to HBO. But his new series, Silicon Valley, is more in line with another of judge’s beloved projects: Office Space. We can confirm that Josh Brener (Glory Daze) and Lindsey Broad (The Office) have already been cast alongside Actor-comedians T.J. Miller (Yogi Bear) and Thomas Middleditch (The Campaign). Not huge names but some fresh faces may be just what this new series needs.

Silicon Valley is set in the high tech gold rush of modern San Fransisco (“The Greater Bay Area”), where the people most qualified to succeed are the least capable of handling success. The dark comedy that will reportedly focus on a group of programmers in East Palo Alto that are trying make it big by making new software.

This week the pilot began filming in Palo Alto at various locations (see image above). We don’t have a ton of information right now but if HBO does decide to pick this series up for a full season we could be looking at a fall/winter premiere date if we’re lucky. Early 2014 seems more likely, though with all of the big shows HBO has on the docket right now.

More as it breaks.
