So, we guess you are aware that we list a “What’s On” post once a month to highlight the upcoming month’s content to HBO & HBO Max. Sometimes WBD has the habit of slipping content onto the schedule at the last minute, well after the month is underway. Such is the case after November is halfway over. So, this post draws your attention to three titles that are late arrivals, but that we don’t want you to miss out on. They are
one series, one movie, and one documentary. Here is a look at the trio; add them to your must-watch list.
- Season Two of IT’S FLORIDA, MAN. is the big surprise here. It could have been a big December debut, but instead, they added it to the schedule beginning FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 28 (10:00-10:30 p.m. ET/PT) on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max. New episodes of the six-episode season will debut weekly.
We will give full details in the December “What’s On” post, and likely binge-watch and review the season once it concludes on FRIDAY, JANUARY 02, 2026. But for those who like to watch it weekly, then Black Friday is the night for you to watch –
–Episode #1 “Speedy”
When the state of Florida takes possession of his dog, a seasoned criminal seeking revenge plots to steal an entire casino boat.
Boy, how well will that turn out for you? We include the Season Two Trailer and to enjoy, from a distance and the safety of your own home, the wacky world that is Florida.
- The Conjuring is the highest-grossing horror franchise of all time, and the latest movie in the franchise, THE CONJURING: LAST RITES, will debut on HBO on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 22, beginning at 8:00 pm ET, and on HBO Max the night prior. If you are a huge horror fan, then this is one not to miss.
As we go through our list of movie reminders, we will look at this movie in more detail, but know that Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson’s portrayals of the Warrens will offer something from the files of the paranormal investigators that will haunt you. The Warrens return for one last case, one that strikes at the core of Ed and Lorraine’s mission and attacks the very heart of the Warren family… their daughter, Judy. (No, the guy in the middle of the graphic is not Judy, but her boyfriend.) Here is what is in store –
The last entry is just a fun little documentary called THE SHUFFLE. It only clocks in at 40 minutes, but it is new to the lineup, and someone might appreciate that we drew their attention to it. The most significant fact for us is that it is the first of a new series of sports shorts for HBO Sports. The details are below.
- The HBO Original documentary short THE SHUFFLE, directed by Jeff Cameron (HBO’s “Hard Knocks”), debuts TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 25 (9:00-9:40 p.m. ET/PT) on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max. The documentary is the first in a new series of short football films, made in partnership with NFL Films, and will debut in advance of the new season of “Hard Knocks: In Season with the NFC East.”
THE SHUFFLE chronicles the making of the 1985 Chicago Bears’ iconic rap music video that became a cultural phenomenon en route to the team’s storied Super Bowl XX championship. Featuring rare behind-the-scenes footage and new interviews with the star players who performed the song, the film explores the conception, execution, and impact of the GRAMMY-nominated track that energized the city of Chicago and football fans everywhere 40 years ago.
Have fun with it! Have fun with all of these titles, even though they arrived late to the slate. Enjoy HBO!
