lookingS2-1-300x169HBO has confirmed the debut date for LOOKING: THE MOVIE, with the feature length presentation scheduled to debut SATURDAY, JULY 23 (10:00-11:30 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO.

Starring Jonathan Groff, Frankie J. Alvarez and Murray Bartlett, LOOKING: THE MOVIE wraps up the story of three close friends living in San Francisco who explore the options available to a new generation of gay men seeking fulfillment in love and life.

In the film, Patrick (Groff) returns to the city for the first time in almost a year to celebrate a momentous event with his old friends. In the process, he must face the unresolved relationships he left behind and make difficult choices about what’s important to him.

LOOKING: THE MOVIE is written by Andrew Haigh and Michael Lannan; directed by Andrew Haigh; executive producers, Andrew Haigh, Michael Lannan, Sarah Condon.

Now not to rain on anyone’s parade here, but it has been a while since we have seen any of these characters. The last episode, which aired 03.22.15, was entitled “Looking for Home.” Do you still remember and care for Patrick Murray (Jonathan Groff), Agustin Lanuez (Frankie J. Alvarez) and Dom Basaluzzo (Murray Bartlett)?  We left Dom mending his messed up friendship with Doris; Augustin created the meaningful artwork at the youth shelter and Patrick was left wondering about what type of relationship he can turn into a permanent one, as he didn’t quite feel good about the open arrangement he had with his last love, Kevin. Now we learn that he must have left San Francisco shortly after that and now returns to hopefully pick up his life and reconnect with friends while still LOOKING.

We will drop the trailer as soon as we see it. And if you want to refresh your memory on the series before 07.23.16 then check it out on the streaming sites.

Their was to be a resolution, and ending.
Perhaps It’s Roku/HBO, but I’m just following up, and am finding The Movie, was aired on July 23. Saw no notice or advertisment for it at all.
Now, I’m trying to locate it, for veiwing…. and nothing.
I took time to leave a comment of regret of losing this “familiar” program.
Is/ will it to be aired @ anytime, again, and how wil (I) we know?
