larry-david-jerry-seinfeldWhat’s Larry David up to these days? Well, he appears to have some time on his hands to go play around with his longtime friend Jerry Seinfeld. With no sign of a new season of Curb on the horizon, Larry teamed up with the Seinfeld co-creator to appear in his new web-series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. The premise of the show is simple. Each week, Seiny drives a different classic car to pick up a comedian; then they go have a cup of coffee. The first episode titled “Larry Eats a Pancake” which premiered last week, features Larry David being picked up in a 1952 VW Bug. The jokes immediately start flying as the two friends engage in 15 minutes of hilarious dialogue which only Larry and Jerry can create. Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee takes the style that David has been using on Curb for years. The show seems to have no real script and the dialogue is merely improvised by the comedians. Overall, it makes for a very funny show. More HBO stars are set to appear in future episodes, including Ricky Gervais and Bob Einstein who plays Marty Funkhouser on Curb Your Enthusiasm. New episodes are posted on CCC’s official website on Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. ET. Want to see a ninth season of Curb Your Enthusiasm?
