Straight from official press releases comes word that two series return in January and February 2026. We gleaned some facts to share about the fourth season of INDUSTRY and the second and final season of LIKE WATER FOR CHOCOLATE in February.
First up is the high-tech, high-stakes drama INDUSTRY. Here is the release in its entirety:
The fourth season of the critically acclaimed HBO Original drama series INDUSTRY debuts SUNDAY, JANUARY 11 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT) on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max. New episodes of the eight-episode season will debut weekly.
Season 4 logline: At the top of their game and living the lives they set out to have as Pierpoint grads, Harper (Myha’la) and Yasmin (Marisa Abela) are drawn into a high-stakes, globetrotting cat-and-mouse game when a splashy fintech darling bursts onto the London scene. As Yasmin navigates her relationship with tech founder Sir Henry Muck (Kit Harington) and Harper is pulled into the orbit of enigmatic executive Whitney Halberstram (Max Minghella), their twisted friendship begins to warp and ignite under the pressure of money, power, and the desire to be on top.

It was declared by TIME as “the must-watch show of the summer” and a “steamy, propulsive drama… [with] smart storytelling.” GQ hailed it as “the best show on TV” while The New York Times referred to it as “appointment viewing,” and Vanity Fair called it “captivating, sexy, and breathlessly entertaining.”

The second and final season of the HBO Original drama series LIKE WATER FOR CHOCOLATE debuts SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 15 (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) on HBO Latino in the U.S. and will be available to stream on HBO Max. New episodes of the six-episode season will debut weekly leading up to the finale on Sunday, March 22.
Logline: In the final season of LIKE WATER FOR CHOCOLATE, Tita finds in Dr. Brown the promise of a different destiny — one where sweetness offers refuge. But Pedro’s return reignites a forbidden passion that defies rules and traditions. Against the backdrop of a Mexico marked by violence and social transformation, traumas, losses, and secrets push every character to confront their limits and decide how much they’re willing to risk for love and freedom. Amid the magic of the kitchen and the strength of their emotions, Tita and Pedro discover that some loves are meant to burn forever.
The series combines magical realism connected with traditional Mexican dishes and ancestral alchemy as a vivid portrayal of Mexican culture, weaving love, family, and lore into a visually stunning story that honors heritage and emotion.
