Straight from an official press release comes word that the HARRY POTTER production is building up the cast. Nine actors have been added. Here is that release:
The HBO Original HARRY POTTER television series has cast the following roles:
Molly Weasley – Katherine Parkinson as Molly Weasley
Malfoy family members – Lox Pratt as Draco Malfoy and Johnny Flynn as Lucius Malfoy
Hogwarts students – Leo Earley as Seamus Finnigan, Alessia Leoni as Parvati Patil, and Sienna Moosah as Lavender Brown
Dursley parents – Bel Powley as Petunia Dursley and Daniel Rigby as Vernon Dursley
Cornelius Fudge – Bertie Carvel as Cornelius Fudge
About the series: The series will be a faithful adaptation of the beloved Harry Potter books by author and executive producer J.K. Rowling. Each season will bring Harry Potter to new and existing audiences, streaming exclusively on HBO Max where it’s available, including in upcoming launch markets Germany, Italy and the UK. The original classic films will remain available to watch around the world.

Also, as reported by many, the cast & crew of this show will have a $1.27 billion mini-town in which to create the new perspective of the Wizarding World tale. The expensive construct, named Potterville, is being built at Leavesden Studios in Hertfordshire in England. It will not only be a filmable exterior set for the show, but all the behind-the-scenes facilities to go with it, including a school for the younger actors and complete husbandry care for animals. This campus within the Studio grounds, after all, is expected to be purposeful for the next decade if all goes to plan.
