Always a week before the Primetime Emmys comes the Creative Arts Emmys. This is the event where awards are given out to the production staff of TV programming in those fields not deemed worthy enough to appear on the telecast the following week. They do, however, get a ceremony complete with acceptance speeches. These awards are the more technical and behind-the-scenes jobs that are just as important as the more high profile ones.

  • Outstanding Casting for a Miniseries, Movie or Special to BEHIND THE CANDELABRA by Jerry Weintraub Productions in association with HBO Films with Carmen Cuba CSA as the winning Casting Director.

 

  • Outstanding Art Direction for Miniseries or Movie to BEHIND THE CANDELABRA by Jerry Weintraub Productions in association with HBO Films  with Howard Cummings  as the winning Production Designer, Patrick M. Sullivan, Jr. as the winning Art Director & Barbara Munch Cameron, S.D.S.A. as the winning Set Decorator.

 

  • Outstanding Art Direction for a Single Camera Series to BOARDWALK EMPIRE for the Season Three episodes “Sunday Best,” “Two Impostors” and “Margate Sands” by Leverage, Closest to the Hole Productions, Sikelia BoardwalkE_EmmyProductions and Cold Front Productions in association with HBO Entertainment with Bill Groom as the winning Production Designer, Adam Scher, as the winning Art Director and Carol Silverman, winning Set Decorator.
