Straight from a press release comes word that the dragons are soon upon us once again. Are you ready for epic battles and dangerous palace intrigue? HOUSE OF THE DRAGON is approaching.
Season three of the HBO Original drama series HOUSE OF THE DRAGON debuts SUNDAY, JUNE 21 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max. The eight-episode season will air new episodes weekly, leading up to the season finale on August 9.
Logline: Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, set 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones,” tells the story of House Targaryen.

Note, though, that a disagreement between showrunner Condal and source creator George R. R. Martin is still in play. Martin has stated earlier this year that the HBO show has been altered enough “that this is not my story any longer.” Yes, there have been enough diverging elements to make for different tale from originally written,but in Ryan Condall’s defense, it is hard to pack in every little detail from the tomes into one 8-episode season. Unless you are a book purist, you might even detect the changes. Either way, the Dance of the Dragons is going to be epic come June 21. Are you all in for the continuation of HOUSE OF THE DRAGON?
