This writer at first thought HBO was getting trounced on when it was not winning what are considered the major awards, but when you note they were still the top earner yet again you can no longer complain. The most wins went to TRUE DETECTIVE except for the top awards and GAME OF THRONES received some but again not for acting. It seems the Academy felt Breaking Bad deserved some love and it did. At least, Julia Louis-Dreyfus garnered another win from the actor categories.

We can be sure HBO will be looking pretty this time next year as well. Let us all find out together. Congratulations HBO!
