This is wonderful! I have not had the chance to watch Watchmen yet, so I am looking forward to trying to catch up with that. What else from this collection would HBOW recommend for those of us with limited TV time these days?

Well, most of the titles are specials and docs. Out of them, I’d have to single out SAY HER NAME THE LIFE & DEATH OF SANDRA BLAND. The MOMS MABLEY one has a great message in it.

The premiere episodes are there to showcase the theme but also to entice viewers to want to see the whole season, I thought that THE NO. 1 LADIES’ DETECTIVE AGENCY was quite novel and ended far too soon. NOTES FROM THE FIELD is quite strong and worthy and for the movies, Queen Latifah in BESSIE (as Blues legend Bessie Smith) is a good movie.

Thank you for sharing your expert recommendations! It’s an impressive collection of content, but I appreciate knowing what to focus on, given that almost no one can watch the ENTIRE collection :)
