Due to a lack of interest from several rumored NFL teams, HBO’s sports documentary which follows a team throughout the pre-season training program has been canceled for 2011. Because of the three month drama caused between the NFL owners and player’s union, teams are looking to focus on getting ready for a season set to begin in just a couple of months.
Fans of the show can rest assured knowing that HBO will try to secure a team to document again next year. Several teams were rumored to be in contention for this year’s broadcast so there still yet may be another season of Hard Knocks in HBO’s future.
