The Harry Potter series gets its production in place with a top-notch team spearheading its efforts. A press release has been released that is all over the internet. People must be excited that the Wizarding World is staying alive. And both Francesca Gardiner and Mark Mylod are a great team to produce and run the adventures.
Their names might not be recognizable to everyone but their cinematic endeavors are to HBO audiences. Gardiner was instrumental in getting SUCCESSION and HIS DARK MATERIALS on HBO and Mylod had involvement with THE LAST OF US, SUCCESSION, and GAME OF THRONES. The series will be a faithful adaptation of the beloved “Harry Potter” book series by author and executive producer J.K. Rowling. The series will feature a new cast to lead a new generation of fandom, full of the fantastic detail and much-loved characters “Harry Potter” fans have loved for over twenty-five years. Each season will bring “Harry Potter” and these incredible adventures to new audiences around the world, while the original, classic, and cherished films will remain at the core of the franchise and available to watch globally.
I have never seen a single movie from this franchise nor read any of the source material, but I am fully aware of how Potter fans enjoy the milieu and understand the potential success this series should bring for HBO.
