After leaving Fox News earlier this year, Glenn Beck is now launching a new internet television network called Glen Beck TV (GBTV). Beck compares his newest venture to cable giants such as HBO and ESPN:
“What would make anyone think that boxing, movies, Bill Maher all go together?” Beck asked. “Why do people go to HBO? Quality. That’s what we want to do here.”
The conservative pundit has been making the media rounds drumming up interest for his new network. It remains to be seen whether Mr Beck’s network can live up to such lofty aspirations. Naturally, HBO had no comment on the matter.
Now, if only Bill Maher could persuade him to take part in a Real Time panel discussion.
