Wait wait wait! You mean, I don’t get to find out what happens to Tyrion and the gang until 2 weeks from now?! But Dany! And Robb! And Sansa! And Arya and the Hound! And and and!… With so much about to happen and only two – 2! – episodes left, I just don’t know what I’m going to do with myself. I guess I could start weeding my garden… break out the lawnmower… clean the swimming pool… actually participate in the world…
So what a cliffhanger. Poor Gendry, at the mercy of Melisandre and Stannis. And just what can or will Davos do? Those leeches popping in flame did not make for a pleasant scene. Tyrion and Sansa: are they doomed? Or can there be happiness there? He probably is the Lannister least likely to kill her and make her life 100% miserable and horrid. Arya is stuck with the Hound, but can they get to the Twins on time? Will she ever see her mother and brother again? Or even Sansa? And Sam and Gilly! Just what happened there? Did he kill an Other, a real true Other? AHHH!!!!! HBO, what a fickle mistress you are, teasing throughout “Second Sons” and trailing us along like this for two whole weeks!
If you are like me and will be jonesing for some HBO goodness this Sunday, May 26th, set your DVRs (or channel) up for HBO’s new movie “Behind the Candelabra,” the behind-the-scenes story of the amazingly gifted Liberace (played by Michael Douglas) and his five-year romantic relationship with Scott Thorson (Matt Damon). From the clips I’ve seen and buzz I’ve heard, man, this movie will be fantastic! If you do happen to miss it, check us out on Monday morning for the best recap of “Behind the Candelabra” on the Internet. And even if you do see, come check us out anyway! Here’s the trailer for the Liberace flick:

I chose option D: curl up in the corner and whimper until next week :P
#pissed off
if your happy this show is cancelled tongight for the “HBO EXLCUSIVE” then you are just a straight goofballi will read the books but the show is better in my opinion the author of this article can suck a fat one, douche.
I cannot believe there’s a break. Lol…I’d been so excited as I’d been about to set my dvr.
Really two weeks you got to be kidding me!
I must read the book because you guys are not giving me any clues to what happens in the next episode.
I really hope for their sake episode 30 does not end with Daenerys, they already ended season 1 with her it should be someone else’s turn. Personally, if those who’ve read the books catch my drift, i think we should see a certain chatacter from episode 29 continue on to be the end of episode 30
So no red wedding?
Please try to avoid spoilers. But yes, the episode will still air, only it has been postponed a week.
Man, I cannot wait to watch it with people who have no idea what is going to happen.
Neither can I. I’m just worried that the delay will result in even more people being spoiled because they just can’t wait to find out what happens!
Hopefully people will resist the temptation not to look on GoT or ASoIaF fan threads to read spoilers. I am the only one in my group of friends & family who has read the books, so I know what’s going to transpire. I am feeling a little anxious about episode 9.
At this point, I’m not dreading the RW at all, as they’ve ruined R & C’s story lines to the point that it’s painful for me to watch them. :(
I like how vague they left that last bit of the description of episode 9. Just enough for you to know if you already knew.
LOL at the episode descriptions, they make them sound awful! I’m guessing that David Benioff & DB Weiss must have written those, that’s about their caliber of writing. ;D
WTF!!!
What if i die in a week!!!
I will never go in peace!!!
Try reading the books. Some of us waited 10 years for the last 2 books, and there are still 2 more after Dance of Dragons (which I am only now just finishing). You better get started, you have some serious reading to do :)
Amen! Try reading the books, anyway. The show pales in comparison. At this point, I’m glad to have a week off. A short respite from the debacle they’ve made out of my poor books!
I’ve read up until book 3, so I know what’s coming in season 4 already. But I stopped reading, because I like the series much, much better than the books.
Blasphemy! How could you possibly like the show better than the books? I like the series, but comparatively, the show lacks the depth, character development, and nuances that Martin brings. Its not even up for debate.
Its like ordering a piece of fresh baked blue berry pie, and only getting the crust.
ITs still done very well and he’s constantly helping with the show as well
In my opinion the TV series though it is good doesn’t let you in on how the characters themselves think and feel about a certain situation, the only way we can see is through their actions which is why the books in any kind of series will always be better.
nope, you’re either an idiot or you never read the books through book 3, there is absolutely no way, us book readers would never ever say “we like the series better” The books have too much more info, you can love the series, but still, you’d be upset, as most of us are, about what is left out, or changed. I just do not believe that you read the books then, because it’s either that, or you’re as dumb as a stump
Control freak here – nothing to see.
As a reader of George Railroad Martin’s books for over a decade, I can say I much prefer the TV show. The books are 80% fluff and 20% plot, and the last two have fallen flat. Maybe HBO can salvage the snoozefest that is AFFC and ADWD.
You must be one in a million then!
Argh! Must. Not. Say. Such. Things. The producers have more imagination than YOU, gentle reader??? Nooooooo!!!!!! Say it ain’t so :)
I plan to start the books as soon as this season is over.
The show does not follow the books verbatim (how could it?)
This is why TV only fans had to sit through three episodes+ of the Ramsey/Theon scenes.
MOVE ON ALREADY ….heheheh
hahahaahahaha… this comment is soooo funny…….
I know just how you feel Kauko ;D
Like everyone else who’s read the books, I’m biting my tongue to not yell out what comes next.
Yell it!! Mwahahahaha…….ha
nooooooooooooooooo
