Easter Sunday, 2013 is a massive day for HBO and its properties.  Game of Thrones season 3 is premiering  tonight at 9PM and the network is going to take the opportunity to tout some of its other new shows alongside the mega-hit fantasy series.  We’ll, of course cover all of those for you on HBOWatch.

First up this morning is a trailer for the sixth season of True Blood!  In the past the debut trailer was a teaser of sorts and didn’t always contain footage from the new season.  This teaser actually gives us a peek at where everyone is starting off this year.  See for yourself:

Nice! Some have speculated that this might be True Blood’s final season. With the main producer stepping down twice, a shortened 10 episode season and now this trailer calling season 6 “The Beginning of the End..” just how long does True Blood have?

Expect this trailer to run just before Game of Thrones tonight. In fact it would be a good idea to tune into HBO at around 8:30 or 8:45 to make sure you catch all of the goodies HBO will be throwing down tonight.

Waiting Sucks a little bit less right now.

I just hope TRUE BLOOD does not come to an end. The way it’s going kinda seems like it will be tho. I really hope not, I’ve been so hooked on this show for yrs since the first time I ever seen it, lol. This is by far the best show I have ever seen, with all my favorite supernatural things lol. Thx HBO for a great show

First three seasons where really good, IMO (especially season 3, because Russell was the best character on the show), but seasons 4 & 5 where complete crap. I’m watching it now just because it’s almost over and I might as well see it through… That, and I’ve hated Bill with a passion since the first season, and it looks like they’re gonna have to kill him, which will more than make up for 2 (maybe 3) really bad seasons.

Maybe beginning of the end means something else. In season two, during Sookie’s dream sex scene with Eric, he says to her “This is the beginning.”

I don’t know the woman’s voice saying its the beginning of the end, so it could mean ANYTHING.

Its hard to stop watching but makes it even harder sometimes to continue because the books are starting to become irrelevent which casts a big problem

Understandable but he has said from Day 1 that he does not and will not follow the books. I’ve never expected anything to follow the book per day bc of that statement. I’m anxious to see what will happen to Bill since he thinks he’s god and all. Anything can happen and I’m glad that Alcide & the wolf pack are still being shown. Love them all!

I love love love True Blood. I work for a Cable Provider and I can tell you HBO sales SKYROCKET when True Blood Season starts, and most of those customers say ” I am just buying this for True Blood.” I see HBO sales dimenishing tremendously if they cancel True Blood. They struggled (to me) with their Original Progamming when they cancelled Sex and The City and The Sopranos, but True Blood brought it back. Game of Thrones is nice, but it like a good football team, you cannot win with the QB alone.

I don’t know about anybody else but this show has gone down hill since season one, and keeps getting worse and worse because they can’t seem to actually kill the cast, or have them leave when they are supposed to.

Season 2 was actually my favorite and I liked season 3 (for the most part), but 4 was pretty bad, especially considering how good book 4 was and 5, while surpassing my admittedly dismal expectations, was definitely a far, far cry from the quality of season 1. I’m not entirely sure whether this is completely attributable to lack of character deaths though. I think some of it is just poor writing. It has certainly declined though, which is a shame.
