HBO Films: PHIL SPECTOR hits the channel on 03.24. To promote that movie HBO released a clip featuring the movie’s writer and director David Mamet. It is not often that an original film gets a behind-the-scenes featurette as they are usually reserved for the big series the channel airs. But here the ulta-insightful Mr. Mamet sets up the movie quite nicely as he almost over analyzes what the themes of PHIL SPECTOR is about.
