Curb Premiere is Most-Watched Episode in Years

The premiere of the eighth season of Curb Your Enthusiasm drew more viewers than any other episode in the past 7 years.  This includes the Seinfeld reunion show that was pretty much a bonus episode of one of the most popular television shows of all time.  1.7 million viewers tuned in to see Larry and Co., that’s up 53 percent from its seventh season opener, with 2.1 million tuning in total when you include the show’s subsequent airings.  True Blood also drew huge numbers that night with over 5 million viewers. Perhaps Larry David owes Allan Ball, the man behind the vampire thriller, a steak dinner!   After an hour of blood, sex and violence I guess users are looking to Larry David for a few laughs before they go to bed on Sunday nights.  Congratulations Larry!  And keep the laughs coming, joke maker!
