Yes, we know this 1-minute Teaser for THE PITT dropped way back in August. We suspected then that it was dropped because HBO wanted to get something up on the screen that said a big crowd pleaser was shaping up nicely, pay up and join us now, and embrace THE PITT, which was five months ahead at the time. Now we are only two months away, which means a full trailer will hit soon. Yeah, they were a bit premature on the hype. We’re offering it now. Get ready for another gripping day at the hospital when Noah Wyle and Company return in January of 2026.

Noah Wyle (Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch), Patrick Ball (Dr. Langdon), Katherine LaNasa (Dana Evans), Supriya Ganesh (Dr. Mohan), Fiona Dourif (Dr. McKay), Taylor Dearden (Dr. King), Isa Briones (Dr. Santos), Gerran Howell (Whitaker), Shabana Azeez (Javadi), Sepideh Moafi (Dr. Al-Hashimi).

Once again, the series will spool out in a 15-episode run. That format, more similar to a broadcast series run, will be the norm for some of the future series at HBO. As Dark Horizons states, “The entire show is essentially shot on a single hospital set on studio soundstages with very limited remote locations. Wardrobe is basic medical gear or civilian clothes, and being a ThePitt_S2Pic-300x166present-day drama set almost entirely indoors means minimal VFX and set/production design requirements. The result is episodes not only coming in at a rather cheap $4-5 million but also able to be produced fast, meaning HBO is able to churn out 15 episodes of the series annually at a cost-effective $60 million or so for the entire season.”

The ‘Pitt Model’ is economic for the brand, and other shows in the pipeline are said to be following that economic construct. They are, according to Deadline, the cop drama AMERICAN BLUE, from former Supernatural showrunner Jeremy Carver, and family drama HOW TO SURVIVE WITHOUT ME(working title), from top TV creator/producer Greg Berlanti, Bash Doran (Life After Life), and Robbie Rogers (Fellow Travelers). More on those shows as they get on the radar. But THE PITT is definitely on the radar, and we will present the official poster for Season Two and the Official Trailer for the sophomore season as they become available within the next month.
