Bryan Singer (X-men,Valkyrie) to Direct HBO’s Bob Fosse Biopic

HBO Films has already purchased Sam Wasson’s Bob Fosse biography, Bye, Bye Life: The Loves and Deaths of Bob Fosse.  Now they’ll have X-Men‘s Bryan Singer to direct.  Veterans Neil Meron and Craig Zadan, the pair behind Hairspray and Chicago, are producing, but no writer is on board yet.

The TV movie would focus on the actor, dancer and director’s colorful life.  Bob Fosse choreographed Damn Yankees and directed Cabaret!  Singer hasn’t said what direction he wants to take the biopic but we’ll keep you abreast of all the latest news!
