The Creative Arts Emmy Awards were handed out on Saturday (Sept. 10) and HBO’s Boardwalk Empire reigned supreme. The show won in categories such as Outstanding Casting, Art Direction, Costuming, Sound Editing and more! HBO’s Mildred Pierece also picked up a trophy or two with wins in such categories as casting in a miniseries and music.
The network broadcast of the larger Emmy award categories will take place next Sunday night at 8PM on FOX.
HBO topped the list of winners at the 2011 Creative Arts Emmy Awards with 15 winged statuettes, followed by PBS with 10. HBO has dominated the Emmy awards in years past and leads the pack again with 104 nominations, more than any other network.
