Saturday, April 19 is the premiere date of Billy Crystal’s latest foray on HBO. It is a two-hour comedy special airing from 9:00pm – 11:00pm ET. 
Just like the previously mentioned Leguizamo special Billy Crystal’s work also is a semi autobiographical look at his upbringing, life and career.
According to the press release
700 SUNDAYS is an original two-act play in which Billy plays numerous characters that have influenced who he is today. It deals with his youth, growing up in the jazz world of Manhattan, his teenage years, and finally adulthood. It is about family and fate, loving and loss.
The Broadway run of this one-man extravaganza broke all kinds of records including the honor of being the weekly highest grossing non-musical of the time. Hopefully all the buzz the show generated will continue to buzz when this comedy special airs on HBO. Speaking about buzz here is The Buzz –
