Exciting times are ahead for gamers who are also fans of George R.R Martin’s Game of Thrones series! On May 15th a new role playing game set in the world of Westeros hits store shelves and it’s shaping up to be quite the spectacle.  We’ve even done a bit of a preview for the game a while back but you can learn all about the game over at the official website. With new characters, a complete storyline endorsed by Martin himself and the ability, for the first time, to emerse yourself in this amazing universe- there’s no way you’ll be missing out on this game if you own an Xbox or PS3 console system.  Here’s a look at what you’ll get:

At HBO Watch we’d like to share the love and excitement fans are feeling about this game by giving away THREE copies before the game’s launch on May 15th.  How can you be one of those lucky three gamers?  Here’s is your quest noble Sers:

Step 1: Like HBO Watch on Facebook OR Follow Us on Twitter

Step 2: Leave a comment below (your email is required) telling us what type of character you’ll build in the Game of Thrones RPG.  Be sure to sign your comment with a mention of your Twitter handle that you’ve followed us with or the name you’re going by on Facebook.

Step 3: Pray to the God (or gods) of your choosing for luck!

We’ll randomly select three honorable commenters below and double check that they’re either following us on Twitter and/or Facebook. If all seems legit we’ll contact that person (via the email address you used to comment!) and ask for your address and the game version of your choosing (Xbox or PS3). That’s it! It all seems so simple because it truly is!

FAQ

How will you “randomly select” a winner?

Each comment is given a unique number. We will use a random number selector to choose a number from that set of comment numbers.

Does the quality of my comment matter?

Not technically.  But since you’re writing a comment anyway why not let us know how big of a badass you’re going to be in this game!  Are you going to be a huge oaf like Ser Gregor Clegane?  Are you going to take up magic like the Red Priestess?  We want to know what you’re planning on doing with this new RPG!

Can I enter twice?!

No. We have ways of determining that you have only been entered into the contest once.  If you attempt to do so we will send not one but TWO faceless men in your general direction with orders to make your life a living torment. Do you really want to be looking over your shoulder for the rest of your life?  Of course you don’t.  Have some honor, people!

Can I win if I’m not in the United States?

Unfortunately we aren’t able to offer this contest to people outside of the US (sorry Canada and UK readers! Please don’t decapitate me!) The prize providers of this contest have explicitly stated that we cannot offer it to non-US residents for legal reasons. It’s not just because we’re too cheap to pay the shipping costs I promise!  Sorry again.

When will I know if I won?

On May 15th we’ll officially close the comments on this article and initiate the random drawing at noon that day. I’ll send an email to the three winners and update this article at that time.
