True Blood Series Finale Extends 10 Minutes

By Jacob Klein on Aug 24, 2014 to True Blood

Losing something you love always sucks.  True Blood has had a long run on HBO with seven seasons and 80 episodes of your favorite vampires, werewolves, faries and.. yeah, lots of other weird creatures. Tonight in the background of the 2014 Emmy Awards True Blood is airing its final episode at 9PM EST/PST.

But we’ve just learned that the final episode will also be 10 minutes longer than usual clocking in at 65 minutes. The HBO Schedule confirms as much:

Note that this pushes back The Leftovers so make sure your DVR is smart enough to figure that out if you’re watching both. Here’s the description of the episode if you’re wondering what’s going to happen and just cant wait for the finale tonight:

Sookie (Anna Paquin) weighs a future with and without Bill (Stephen Moyer). Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) and Pam(Kristin Bauer van Straten) struggle with their uncomfortable partnership with Mr. Gus (Will Yun Lee). Sam (Sam Trammell)makes a choice, while Andy (Chris Bauer) comes upon an unexpected inheritance.

And here’s the final trailer as well.  We’ll leave you with this and we hope you enjoy the final 65 minutes of HBO’s True Blood tonight:
