New version of Dominik Omega’s music video here:

Everybody has such great additions to the list! I’d love to see a “country” version too.

What a fun idea for an article, I really enjoyed this! It also made me think of a fan art piece that I wrote a while back, as so many artists and musicians have been inspired by this series and/or the book series.

Timeflies did an awesome Game of Thrones mix and freestyle.

This version was how I discovered both of these guys. Amazing artists!

The National’s “The Rains of Castamere” is pretty awesome. It ran as the closing song for “Blackwater.” A-maz-ing.

This version was how I discovered

forgot the best one.. the halfman’s song – not a cover.. but still a good song…

Im learning to play it on classical guitar from this girl:

Really hard but I’m getting there.

Great post. My personal favorite has to be the White Noise Lab version. I remember how awestruck I was when it was uploaded, I grabbed my guitar and got ready to play along…only to realize that I’d have to detune my guitar in order to play it, so my little musical adventure never happened. There’s a behind the scenes video too, and it’s clear that he put a tremendous amount of work into recording it!
