When True Blood’s music supervisor first approached singer, songwriter, Taylor Swift’s people about using one of her songs in a “sexy, racy scene” they were initially rebuffed. Eventually, Swift herself is said to have given HBO the green light to use her song ‘Haunted’ during a sexy montage featuring Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård). The decision was sure to create controversy, however as parents of younger Swift fans inquire about the scene. Uptight parents should probably keep their children in bed and away from HBO on a Sunday night anyway if they’re worried about inappropriate content.
