For those about to rock & roll we salute you!RockInductees

This year the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will have a wide array of special guests to pay tribute to this year’s inductees: Peter Gabriel, Daryl Hall and John Oates, KISS, Nirvana, Linda Ronstadt, Cat Stevens, the E Street Band, Brian Epstein and Andrew Loog Oldham. Those special Special guests this year include: Chris Martin, Glenn Frey, Michael Stipe, Questlove, Stevie Nicks, Bonnie Raitt, Bruce Springsteen, Peter Asher, Carrie Underwood, Emmylou Harris, Tom Morello and Sheryl Crow. The 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductions were held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Thursday, April 10 and the packaged debut airs Saturday, May 31 at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on HBO.

I don’t know about any of you all, because everyone’s musical tastes vary but, this list of Inductees kicks it for me. I’m a headbanger and Mosh Pit diver so KISS & Nirvana make me happy. I also dig the groove of Peter Gabriel and dug the sound of Cat Stevens back in the day. I know and respect the placement of H&O, Ronstadt and E Street to the list. Plus, you can’t even dispute that classic managers of the Beatles & the Stones, Epstein & Oldham respectively, belong there too.

There was plenty of rock-n-roll excitement and some sadness and controversy as well during this year’s ceremony. HBO captured it all and “edited” the evening into an exciting presentation airing on the channel. The word edited is in quotes because this concert is three hours long so I am not sure how much editing was done. They say they captured an awesome evening. Catch the Buzz…

The event may not be for everybody to want to sit through, but this dude is going to “rock and roll all night and party every day”…. Yeah, right, there is work in the morning. Anyway, if you love the rich musical sounds of the varied inductees check out the concert debuting 05.31 only on HBO!
