You may have already seen the controversy swirling around the internet about a video that was shown Friday night on the Real Time with Bill Maher show.  We don’t want to offend any of our readers so if you are easily offended, please refrain from watching the following video.  A bit of context first:  A couple of weeks ago Alexandra Pelosi, daughter of former Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi created a video for Bill Maher’s show where she visited several small towns in Mississippi.  Needless to say the folks she interviewed were blatantly racist towards President Obama and had many other unseemly characteristics.  But now she has put together the following video which focuses on welfare recipients in the New York area.  Pelosi insists that both videos are just random people she found on the street.  We’ll let you take a look at both videos and decide for yourselves:

And just to be fair we wanted to show you the original video we mentioned earlier. This was also shown on Real Time with Bill Maher:

What do you think of the videos?  Fair?  Unfair?  Hilarious?  We want to hear from you.  Shoot us a tweet on Twitter or leave a comment below! Can’t wait to see how Bill responds to the controversy this Friday!

Although strongly skewed, I fel this was very balanced on Maher’s part. I think they both reached unreasonable conclusions. “Racists are always going to be side with the Republicans”…oh, like Martin Luther King Jr? That’s right he was a Republican. Will they vote against a black man, absolutely, by definition. Are all recipients of government money democrats? No. The guy in the first video takes food stamps and claims to be a Republican. This is not an issue of poor or rich, hard working or lazy, it really comes down to control and human nature. I also don’t think the comparison between defense and welfare dollars is an even one. Defense costs 10 times what welfare costs. 9-11 made it clear to us, without defense or safety, welfare doesn’t exist. Without welfare, defense could continue to exist. Good try, but I’m still working hard to pay for my family…and for the folks in the second video too. Mr. Maher, you are rich. If you don’t feel you’ve paid enough in taxes or you want to help the poor, I’m sure you can exist on $30k per year. Check the box at the bottom of your 1040 that says “I want to donate $x to the federal gov’t” or give more to charity. Nobody is forcing you to keep your money, but don’t force me by the gunpoint of the law to give more of my money.

Maher says: “..we don”t want to fuck black people” and then he goes on to say that the black man who said he is entitled because his forefathers (slaves) built this country has a viable reason…yet the toothless guy has a chip on his shoulder. Maher is not funny and his thought process is skewed!
