We are all full aware that the fangs will be bared one last time this summer as TRUE BLOOD winds down its story. But it appears, after all that is said and done, Anna Paquin and her husband Stephen Moyer plan on sticking around HBO. The fangtastic couple have their own production company now, called CASM, which has just struck a development deal with Home Box Office.
Apparently any deal made will be the first TV deal for CASM, but it has already had successful projects on the big screen. CASM Films was behind Free Ride with Paquin and is steering towards bringing Columbia written by and starring TRUE BLOOD co-star Denis O’Hare and to be directed by Moyer. Also in the works is an adaptation of Martin Millar’s Lonely Werewolf Girl.
It is too early of course to say what could be in the offing at HBO. The productions down the line could just be produced by Paquin/Moyer, along with their partners Cerise Hallam Larkin and her husband Mark Larkin. Or they could be optioned as directors and/or actors as well. We at HBOWatch hope that Anna and Stephen are successful at getting something launched on the network that gave us the celluloid Sookie, Bill, etc. In the meantime we still have that final season to go beginning 06.22.

So sad that TB has to end! I hope HBO will make a feature film, or two of TB! it’s a great idea!
Why did they decide to cancel True Blood? It is a great show.
May they forever be known as ‘Beehl and Sookeh’…forever and ever.
And ever. ;)
I am sure they will.
