Behind the Candelabra should catch your attention at the mention of the main characters: Michael Douglas as Liberace and Matt Damon as Scott Thorson.  But the new HBO film also has a well known helmsmen: Stephen Soderbergh.  Tonight HBO released the first teaser trailer for the new TV movie that also reveals the premiere date of May 26th. Another cast member has been added to the fourth season of BOARDWALK EMPIRE. Brian Geragthy, will play a character named Loren Knox. He is described as a prohibition agent with ulterior motives in his newly assigned post in Atlantic City. By that scant bit of info it makes you wonder if this agent is on the up and up. Will he get tangled up in business he shouldn’t have? We will have to wait until Fall to find out. Parade’s End is based on a series of books by Ford Madox Ford, an English writer who lived at the turn of the twentieth century. There’s a lot to love about this well-made period drama, gorgeous costumes, pastoral sets that leave you aching for days-gone-by, and stellar acting. Great care was taken with the writing, yielding beautifully-crafted lines delivered with equal measures of grace and gravitas. The depth of character and emotion reflected in the first two episodes leaves me hopeful that whatever the conclusion, it will be worth the journey. Those who enjoy period...
