Michael Lannan

Just picked up to become a HBO series is a project HBOWatch has been tracking since this  12.16.12 post. The network has given an eight (8) episode order to the yet untitled project. The work centers on three friends in San Francisco who explore life and all that is available to them as a part of the new generation of gay men.

The biggest name in the cast is Jonathan Groff, which we reported to be onboard in this post .  Andrew Haigh directed the pilot written by Michael Lannan based on Lannan’s feature script Lorimer. Production is expected to begin in the fall in San Francisco for a 2014 premiere. Maybe, it will be coupled with the other California based show we have been tracking called SILICON VALLEY?

Maybe, as noted in one of the prior posts, this new show will be the gay version of GIRLS.  Time will tell. This production is moving along and now needs to find a title. What’s wrong with LORIMER? Time will tell on that matter too.
