The production teams at Leverage & Closer to the Hole have been releasing news of cast additions to BOARDWALK EMPIRE lately. We’ve mentioned Lombardozzi, Livingston & Geraghty here and we now add to that list Jeffrey Wright.
In Season Four Jeffrey Wright will play the role of Valentin Narcisse, Doctor of Divinity, philanthropist, student of culture and the man who runs Harlem. Sounds like it might be a tough time with the “boys in the ‘hood” this Fall as Wright is listed as a regular to the cast.
Mr. Wright is no stranger to HBO. He played Martin Luther King Jr. in the 2001 HBO Film BOYCOTT and recreated his stage role of Norman “Belize” Arriaga in the 2003 HBO Film ANGELS IN AMERICA. He appeared again in 2005 in the HBO Film LACKAWANNA BLUES. It will nice to see him do series work coming this Fall on BOARDWALK EMPIRE.

He’s going to make the show, especially with Chalky in the mix
Lots of new faces. I wonder how much time they’ll actually spend on the Boardwalk this year. Seems like they’re branching out to Chicago and NYC. Will this show still be about Atlantic City?
