HBO has released a pair of teaser trailers for Stephen Merchant’s upcoming comedy series: Hello Ladies. The Home Box Office is no stranger to british comedy with Ricky Gervais headlining several specials and series’. In fact Stephen is a good friend and colleague of Mr. Gervais so it should come as no surprise that HBO has picked up his latest offering.

Here’s a tease of what’s to come:

And the newest one:

As you saw the show premieres September 29th at 10:30P. The trailers look quite funny so we hope this series blows us all away!

I have a feeling that this show is going to work. I’m not sure who the demographic is meant for quite yet; I mean is it a “guy” sitcom like HUNG was, or what? Will it be a good comedic mix for the Fall drama series coming up? Does it matter? Am I thinking to hard about it?
All I know right now is that I want it to succeed.

After the second season of Girls i was kinda fed up with those characters. But love that HBO is getting back to more “male-friendly” comedy-series like Hello Ladies. And yes, it`s Stephen Merchant without Ricky Gervais. That`s good. Looking forward to this.
