Update: This post is now bumped up to include a couple of teasers recently released. We already have the trailer for GIRLS, but now we can add ones for the other two shows coming Sundays in January 2015. First up is our first look at the new show in the line-up TOGETHERNESS.

Ouch, they may be together, but they don’t seem to happy.  We will have to wait until January to deconstruct that relationship.  Next up we get a glimpse of how our San Fran boys are faring. Here is a Teaser for LOOKING.

Consider yourself teased I guess.

An announcement has come forward from HBO announcing its January premieres. The comedy block of Lena DunhaGirlsTeam-300x200m’s GIRLS; the new TOGETHERNESS and Michael Lannan’s LOOKING have set the date of – January 11, 2015, as the Sunday that the winter season of programming starts.

GIRLS returns for a 10- episode run beginning at 9:00pm ET. HBOWatch has already pondered the fourth season and the forthcoming adventurous mishaps of Hannah and the girls when the Season Four trailer launched. Now we know that Sundays at 9:00 we will be able to squirm some more as they continue to sort through their missed up lives. With Dunham are Jemima Kirke, Allison Williams, Zosia Mamet, Adam Driver, Alex Karpovsky, Andrew Rannells and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

It might be the dead of winter but the weather is going to be nice in LA with TOGETHERNESTogetherness_leads-300x186S. Jay and Mark Duplass team up for this new comedy series with an eight episode run at 9:30pm ET.  Brett and Michelle (Mark Duplass, Melanie Lynskey) are struggling to rekindle the spark in their relationship, which has puttered out from the stresses of marriage and children. When Brett’s friend Alex (Steve Zissis) and Michelle’s sister Tina (Amanda Peet) move in with them, the foursome engage in a tragically comedic struggle to follow their personal dreams, while still remaining good friends, siblings and spouses to each other.

Rounding out the cold Sunday nights will be the hot bods, at least for some, of LOOKING. The show will air its ten-episode second season beginning at 10:00pm ET. The break-ups and new loves will continue in the San Francisco set series as the characters played by Jonathan Groff, Frankie J. Alvarez, Murray Bartlett and others unfold. Will happiness happen for everyone in Season Two? All will be revealed, maybe even literally, when the gay men of HBO return in January.  looking30-300x200

That is GIRLS at 9:00, TOGETHERNESS at 9:30 and LOOKING at 10 beginning 01.11.15. Hmmm, that still leaves the 10:30pm slot open? Will it be a half hour of repeats or something new? If it is new programming why wasn’t it included in this announcement? We know it won’t be BALLERS or SILICON VALLEY and surely they would announce if THE BRINK was ready to go?  I guess we have a mystery on our hands that we will have to wait for.

Mark your calender or check our Schedule page to remember these shows and their premiere date.
