HBO Reveals Game of Thrones on DVD/Blu-Ray

UPDATE: The new Release Date for the Game of Thrones DVD and Blu-Ray Set is March 6th, 2012!

It’s still a while until you’ll be able to pick up the complete first season of Game of Thrones on DVD or Blu-Ray.  But after today you’ll probably have enough reason to pre-order it from your favorite online retailer post haste.  Take a look at the box-art!

Here are all the details:

Blu-Ray Complete Guide to Westeros: An interactive compendium of the noble houses and lands featured in Season One, PLUS 24 exclusive histories of the Seven Kingdoms as told by the characters themselves.

HBO isn’t exactly pleasing anxious fans with this March 20th release date for Game of Thrones season 1 on Blu-Ray and DVD.  They have put the entire first season on demand so you can watch the entire thing (minus all of these extras!) in HD from the comfort of your own castle.  Winter is Coming this April when season 2 premieres.
