HBOWatch has been following the production of the upcoming film from Ryan Murphy forfor a while now. Eventually we learned via a Press Release that it would debut sometime in May 2014. Well finally a date has been finalized and we can announce that…HBO Films: THE NORMAL HEART will premiere on Sunday, May 25 at 9:00pm ET.
Quite a number of known actors are a part of the project that relives the HIV-AIDS Crisis of the early 1980’s. The film, based on the tony-winning Larry Kramer play of the same name stars Mark Ruffalo, Matt Bomer, Taylor Kitsch, Jim Parsons, Julia Roberts, Alfred Molina, Joe Mantello, BD Wong (of OZ), Denis O’Hare (of TRUE BLOOD) and Jonathan Groff (of LOOKING).
HBOWatch has been tracking this work since 11.15.12; it is nice to finally see that it is ready to air and is scheduled. Out of the eight or nine posts this HBO Film appears in the best one to glean the most amount of detail is the What We Know About…one.
