TrueBloodHorror-300x176There are plenty of ways to enjoy the spooky goings on this Halloween and HBO has let us know that it is doing its part to make all the ghastly vamps and ghouls happy. At your disposal on either HBONow, HBOGo and across its channels is a list of fiendishly  fun flicks to binge on. Plus, don’t forget the entire run of TRUE BLOOD is available as well. Now, all they need to make it complete is TALES FROM THE CRYPT, but I say that every year. Presented in alphabetical order here are HBO’s Tricks ‘n’ Treats for Halloween:

Before there was Birdman there was BEETLEJUICE. Enjoy a clip.

Also there is DAWN OF THE DEAD, DON’T TELL MOM THE BABYSITTER’S DEAD, ESCAPE FROM L. A., GHOST TOWN, GONE GIRL and GOTHIKA. How about HANNIBAL, HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL and RETURN TO HOUSE ON HAUNTED HIL. There is also on site MUHauntedHouseGhoul-300x181LHOLLAND DR. and QUEEN OF THE DAMNED.

You can’t deny that they are offering a variety of choices. For example, there is SERIAL MOM, THE BOOK OF LIFE, THE FLY (from 1986), THE PURGE: ANARCHY and THE PYRAMID. Those last two titles are back-to-back premieres on Saturday, 10.31 and HBOWatch will review them.

We round out the list of titles with that “Sweet Transvestite” as THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW is included in the lineup along side THE SKELETON KEY, THE TALENTED MR. RIPLEY, TRICK R’ TREAT and WHEN A STRANGER CALLS.

Other titles that fit the genre that are already featured on HBONow/Go include –

THE CELL 2, DARK CITY, THE FACULTY, FEARDOTCOM, HOLLOW MAN and TALES FROM THE CRYPT: BORDELLO OF BLOOD and TALES FROM THE CRYPT: DEMON KNIGHT.

So there you go. You got a variety of zombies, ghosts, serial killers and monsters. There are also films full of social comment, psychogical thrills, campy fun and pulse racing chills. Have fun this Halloween and spend some of it with HBO! Its spooktacular.  Its HBONow and HBOGo

When first dating my (husband now) boyfriend, he introduced me to Rocky Horror Picture Show. At first, I was like, “What the heck is this?!” But after, it grew on e and I just laughed my head off. Fabulous movie. I have not seen Beetlejuice and a lot of my friends have told me that I am seriously missing out. I love American Werewolf in London. I really cannot watch any type of horror movie, as I’m not a fan and will lose sleep. I know, I’m a chicken!

The Rocky Horror Show is a Halloween MUST in our household. My dad caught me watching it on VHS when i was about 3 years old because i liked the singing and dancing and Columbia’s sparkly shoes…i wasn’t bothered by the sex, or axes going through peoples heads or anything…oh to be 3 again.

At the age of three? I almost hesitated at showcasing that movie with a clip, but the fact that it is a cult favorite made me include it.
