4 New Actors Cast in Game of Thrones Season 3

The casting news just keeps pouring in as Game of Thrones season 3 continues filming at exotic locations around the world.  First we heard that Mance Rayder will be played by Rome actor, Ciaran Hinds and also this weekend we learned of four more actors joining the sprawling cast of HBO’s Game of Thrones series.  Here are the newest faces in the world of Westeros:  (there are spoilers below for those who haven’t been reading the novels)  All descriptions are taken from the wonderful Wiki of Ice and Fire.

Ed-Skrein-204x300 Ed Skrein as Daario Naharis He is a Tyroshi and leader of the mercenary company Stormcrows. Best known for is exotic appearance, Daario keeps his three-pronged beard and curly hair dyed blue. He paints his mustachios gold and has a long, hooked nose. Daario Naharis is a capable warrior and has a certain affection for Danaerys Targaryen.Ed Skrein is a British artist, musician, and actor. After receiving a degree in fine art, he worked as an MC collaborating with Foreign Beggers, Nathan Flutebox Lee, Asian Dub Foundation and Plan B. He eventually transitioned into acting and can been seen in three films from this year: Piggy, Ill Manors and The Sweeny.
hilde-150x150 Dan Hildebrand as Kraznys Kraznys mo Nakloz is a slaver in Astapor. He deals primarily in Unsullied. He has an oiled red and black beard and is very fat.Hildebrand is a British actor who has previously appeared on the short-lived HBO show Deadwood as Tim Driscoll in Season One and Shaughnessy in Season Two. He has also played the role of Sean Casey on FX’s Sons of Anarchy.
Romon-Tikaram-150x150 Ramon Tikaram as PrendahlPrendahl na Ghezn is a captain of the mercenary company Stormcrows. He is also Ghiscari.Tikaram a British stage and screen actor of Indo-Fijian and Malaysian descent and has enjoyed a very successful theatre career. His television credentials include appearances on British TV series’ Primeval, Casualty, and EastEnders.

jacob-andersonJacob Anderson as Grey WormAccording to a semi-canon source, Grey Worm has absolutely no facial hair, though the hair atop his head is short and brown. He is stocky, of medium height and square. He has a serious looking face.  Grey Worm is an Unsullied purchased by and sworn to Daenerys Targaryen. He is the commander of Daenerys’s Unsullied and one of her trusted advisers.

Jacob Anderson is probably best known for playing Omen on the British film Adulthood. Recently, he appeared in an episode of Skins as Ryan and a friend of ‘Thrones/Skins actor Joe Dempsie. Other television roles include Primeval, Casualty, Doctors, and Episodes.

There you have it!  Four new faces to remember and a few names with 4 consonants in a row for your tongue to tie over!  Just kidding, Mr. Martin, we love you and your work.  What do you think of the choices, Game of Thrones fans?
