It’s been almost a year since Entourage wrapped it’s final season. The Hollywood centered series was an HBO subscriber favorite and fans all over the world are still reeling over the loss of the show. But have no fear Aquaman fans! Entourage will be returning in the form of a feature film with all of your favorite characters returning to the screen. Yesterday we were given the first details on the movie from series creator Doug Ellin who is now 110 pages into the almost-completed screenplay.
Ellin says that the film will take place six months after the events of the finale with Ari finally head of a studio, Vince balking at marriage and the group still getting together periodically to party hard (as per usual).
DE also had this to say:
There are interesting developments about Ari as a studio head, and that’s still the first page for me. But foremost is the friendship between the guys who are still hanging out and going to fun parties, and it continues with the same characters.
It looks like more of the same from the Entourage team! But if it isn’t broken then why change it? More details on the Entourage movie including a premiere date as we get them. Filming is rumored to begin in January of 2013, though. In the mean time grab Entourage on DVD and Blu-Ray and catch up with the guys!
