With all of the faces running around HBO’s Newsroom you’re probably having trouble keeping all of their names straight at this point. Well we’re here to make your job a little tougher this morning Deadline is reporting that Cosntance Zimmer, probably best known to HBO fans as Ari Gold’s sometimes hookup Dana Gordon, will be joining Will McAvoy for Season 2 of The Newsroom.
The sophomore season of Newsroom is said to cover the 2012 presidential election and Zimmer will play Taylor, a press spokesperson for the Mitt Romney campaign. She also dives into politics on Netflix’ new series House of Cards.
Season 2 premieres this spring/summer. The DVD/Blu-Ray combo pack for Season 1 is released on June 11th so we’re anticipating a premiere date shortly after that.
