Sometimes little surprises can be revealed....

That Veep-tastic Video from the White House Correspondent’s Dinner

That Veep-tastic Video from the White House Correspondent’s Dinner

Julia Louis-Dreyfus has a presidential mastery of comedy… well, vice-presidential anyway. She’s also becoming quite famous over at the real capital these days. Last night JLD and Vice President Joe Biden debuted a hilarious video starring no less than Michelle Obama nagging about eating ice cream out of a bucket, Speaker of the House John Boehner watching Pandas on NatGeo instead of working and Nancy Pelosi getting a tattoo. Does all of this sound too weird to be real?  Here’s the video to check it out for yourself if you missed it: Want more Julia? Veep continues tonight on...

VEEP Will Return for a Fourth Season

VEEP Will Return for a Fourth Season

We have already made it clear that both GAME OF THRONES and SILICON VALLEY will return to the schedule in the Spring of 2015, but we forgot to mention that VEEP will also be joining them. This little oversight is not really surprising as Selina Meyer always seems to be behind the 8-ball as it were. Of course, we have the rest of Season Three to enjoy first. We have only seen the first three episodes and find that the vice-President (Julia Louise-Dreyfus) is about to officially announce her run for the POTUS position. Now that a Season Four is a certainty maybe, the show will slow down the campaign and stretch it out into the next season. I...

Veep Season 3: Episode 2

Veep Season 3: Episode 2

First, can I just say how jarring it is to go from Game of Thrones to Veep? Yet, that is what HBO is giving us on Sunday nights. From Westeros to Washington. Episode two of Veep begins with Mike. Oh, Mike. Still on his honeymoon, even if his “honeymoon” seems more like a stay-cation. Couldn’t Mike have done better than that? Maybe the beach? The Grand Canyon? A cruise? Yes, now that I think of it, there should really be a spin-off series with Mike, his wife, Gary, and Jonah on a year-long cruise. All four of them, stuck together on a boat, in the middle of the ocean, for a solid year. That would be comedy gold. Gold! Do you hear...
