Who will kill the most people in Season 2 of Game of Thrones?

If nothing else, Game of Thrones is known for its carnage. People seem to drop like flies and their deaths can come at any moment. We’ve already discussed the most dangerous character in season one, but which of these characters do you think will kill the most people in season two?   Now, just because you’ve read the book doesn’t mean you’ll have the right answer… HBO deviated from the storyline in season one and they have said they will be making some changes in season two, as well!  So, who will rack up the most on-screen kills?  Here are my three guesses as to who will kill the most people in the second season of Game of...

Ricky Gervais – Love Him or Leave Him

He is at it again. Ricky Gervais has offered up to HBO yet another shot of humor. For subscribers it started with EXTRAS. That show was a sitcom about the people who play extras in TV shows/movies. It was a poke at the industry and celebrities, even though celebrities made guest appearances. For example, Patrick Stewart, Daniel Radcliffe and Kate Winslet are three that come to mind Then we were offered the animated THE RICKY GERVAIS SHOW. That was the show that featured Karl Pilkington at the center of Gervais’s humor. It was originally done as podcasts and the stories and jokes contained there were animated. Now Mr. G. presents...

Why True Blood won’t be canceled any time soon

After nearly four years of love, horror and betrayal it’s hard to imagine Sunday evenings in the summertime without HBO’s True Blood.   But like all good (bad, bad) things, the show will someday come to an end.  A few are even calling for the show’s ‘true death’ right now.  But critics aside, the show continues to see financial sucess on all fronts.  Some may see this summer’s installment of the program of True Blood as it’s last but here are just a few reasons we doubt this beloved show is going anywhere soon. Ratings are steady HBO isn’t a network that cancels a show soley based on...

Game of Thrones: Top 5 Most Memorable Scenes

With season two of Game of Thrones less than 2 months away, I have been biding my time with season one reruns. While it’s great to revisit the whole first season, I was especially excited to re-watch particular scenes. Now there are plenty of notable scenes in season one, but there are a few that stand out from the rest. Here are my Top 5 Most Memorable Scenes: 5. Bran’s… um, discovery and fall One moment you watching this cute, young Stark boy climbing about the castle, the next he stumbles upon some serious incest. Bran accidentally catches Jaime and Cersei in the act and finds himself in a precarious position. You take a breath...

Who Should Die in Season 5 of True Blood?

After the tragedy of last season, -and yes I consider the fact Eric Northman broke the core traits of his book character to be a tragedy since the real vampire viking god does not say “I love you” after a week of shagging! – I will readily admit I want to torch a whole lot of the remaining Alan Ball cold mess that is called True Blood, starting with a nice sloughing off of quite a few major characters. Perhaps a good culling could save my once beloved show from slipping even further into irrelevancy than it already has, as well as tighten up the overload of meandering plot lines,.. though I doubt it. And sure, I do get a...

7 Ways Game of Thrones Has Changed My Life

The book series and HBO show, A Game of Thrones, have no doubt become a huge part of the fans’ lives. But for many of us, it has affected our day to day life. Here are 7 ways that Game of Thrones has altered my daily routine: 1. I take (much) hotter showers. After Daenerys’ bath scene in season one, I now enjoy scalding myself in the morning. Because, obviously, taking excessively hot showers will make me have the Blood of the Dragon. If you haven’t seen this cartoon, you’re missing out. 2. I distrust blond people. Anyone that shares that distinctive trait of the Lannister clan makes me suspicious of some unknown plot. Yes, that...

7 Things I Can’t Live Without In Game of Thrones Season 2

Serena writes for Sookieverseblog and kissed by fire, a Game of Thrones & ASOIAF blog. You can also find her on Twitter @kissed_by_fire . For those that don’t know me, I am a notorious bookie in more ways than one, – I love my favorite books beyond a healthy obsession, I love talking about them endlessly, and I especially love anticipating their appearance on the small screen. While I know some elements must be changed or transformed for a television format in an adaption, I was born greedy. I. want. it. all. But if I can’t have it my way, doubtless, I will take to the internet to air my woes, stridently and often. So...

Game of Thrones’ Most Dangerous Character

As you know, when you play the game of thrones, you either win or you die. And there are a number of treacherous lords and ladies is HBO’s A Game of Thrones who will make sure of that fact. To say that the characters in this show are dangerous is an understatement, but who presents the most danger in the world of Westeros? The first names to come to the minds of watchers might be the Clegane brothers. Sandor and Gregor are unmatched for the size and ferocity in battle. They both make for imposing figures, but I’d run from Gregor before his younger brother. In the show, Sandor seems to at least exercise some restraint with his power. This...
