If You Missing ANIMALS. Then Catch Up!

We know that not everyone catches every little bit of HBO’s content. We know that the big Sunday night lineup is the most watched timeframe. But sometimes it is fun to explore the other content also. That is why in this post we draw your attention to ANIMALS. Have you been watching? It is an animated series, now in its second season that airs Friday nights at 11:30pm. HBO’s Spring 2017 Lineup Locked In

As is the norm at HBO every drama hour is coupled with a set of comedy half-hours to make a Sunday night a complete package. 2017 is a slightly different schedule than the past few years have been; that is mainly because of GAME OF THRONES’ move and the arrival of limited series like THE YOUNG POPE and BIG LITTLE LIES. Duplass Brothers’ Animated ANIMALS to Series at HBO

HBO is returning to adult animation with ANIMALS in 2016. The network hasn’t seen that genre since THE LIFE & TIMES OF TIM aired. Jay & Mark Duplass, the brother producing team behind HBO’s TOGETHERNESS (in which Mark stars as Brett Pierson) have sold the animation concept to HBO straight out of the Sundance Festival earlier this year. Note that they are not talking about a pilot being ordered, but that a two-season run is already planned beginning in 2016.
