As if there were any doubt, HBO is creating a second season of Boardwalk Empire to be released sometime late this year.  On the heels of much critical acclaim and impressive ratings, the show will continue with it’s second season.  Without even a release month on the books, there isn’t much known about the second season.  But the mystery surrounding the 1920’s period drama unraveled a bit Sunday night before the big Game of Thrones premiere on HBO.  Take a look at the Boardwalk Empire ‘Invitation to the Set’ special and get your first taste of the second season.

Looks like the story will pick up right where the last season left off! Let’s see if Boardwalk Empire can sweep the Emmys and Golden Globes again as it did this year!
