A new trailer has surfaced and we add it here:

It sounds like only one man will stand alone when all is said and done. Just which one will it be?

By the looks on their faces none of these men are going to go down easily. But, clearly some will be on the bad end of a “tommy gun” and in a pine box because, well…

All Empires Must Fall.

We also just learned that the series will jump forward in time.

This is the final season of Boardwalk Empire. Are you sad to see it go? Cry with us all in the comments below.

Everybody with a brain in their head should know what happened in real life. Now this season I’d kill to see them bring Leonardo Dicaprio in for some important roll to help cap off the final. This has been my all time favourite drama to ever air on T.V and it kills me to see it end every season jst got better and better throughout and how many shoes can say that? Now they got allot of work to do to top them all and make for an amazing end. But I am fully confident in the writers actors and directors + all crew member that I will not be disappointed.

well since it’s based off of real events we all know it will end. Just sad to see it go so soon it’s a great show. All the actors were great in there roles and i look forward to seeing them in the finale season.

Really looking forward to this, and I don’t mind the time skip. I’m just wondering if Winter will write a natural conclusion, or go the David Simon route.

What do you mean by ‘go the David Simon route’? I thought The Wire and Treme are some of the few shows to actually have a natural or rather naturalistic conclusion.

I actually meant it as a compliment, in that the endings to Treme and The Wire emphasize that people drop in and out of roles, but life goes on as always. Not really typical “conclsions” per se, but the endings themselves are natural.
